The Christian Athletic Association was established in 1974 to foster an environment where youth in Charlotte could find a productive extra-curricular outlet through sports. While the league started with humble beginnings from a few churches, it has blossomed to a current membership of 8 churches in the Charlotte community in partnership to promote cultural responsibility, sportsmanship, and most importantly God's love.
The Christian Athletic Association's executive board consists of ministers, deacons, trustees, and other church clergy members who also devote their time to be presidents, commisioners, treasurers, secretaries, and athletic directors to bring up culturally responsible youth in the Charlotte-metro area through Basketball, Softball, and Baseball outreach opportunities.
That is why we are especially happy to find new volunteers who share our commitment to doing good for the youth in the Charlotte-metro area. We can never have too many coaches, athletic directors, or other volunteers who would like to make an impact in our community. Do you want to support us by helping with our work? Then do not hesitate to contact us. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated!
